Luis Figueroa Luna

I am a business development and fundraising professional with a background in entrepreneurship, strategic partnerships, and sustainable development. I currently serve as Fundraiser at Roatan Marine Park, where I contribute to the organization’s mission of protecting and restoring the marine ecosystems of Roatan.

In my role, I lead fundraising initiatives, develop relationships with corporate sponsors and strategic partners, and identify opportunities to generate sustainable financial support for conservation programs. I work to connect the private sector, donors, and conservation stakeholders to strengthen the long-term impact of marine protection and environmental initiatives.

I hold a Master’s degree in Entrepreneurship and Innovation from EAE Business School in Barcelona and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Honduras. During my master’s studies, I participated in an international academic experience connected to Babson College, where my team and I developed a project aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) that was awarded second place in a worldwide competition.

Through my work, I aim to combine entrepreneurship, strategic partnerships, and innovative fundraising approaches to support marine conservation, protect biodiversity, and contribute to sustainable development in coastal communities.
