Welcome to our Conservation community!
To foster a positive and productive environment for all members of the RMP Conservation WhatsApp Community, we have established a set of guidelines that everyone is encouraged to follow. These rules promote respect, meaningful discussions, and a supportive atmosphere while maintaining the integrity of our conversations. By adhering to these principles, we can create a collaborative space that encourages sharing and growth centered around our common interests. Thank you for being a part of our community!
Thank you for being a part of it!
Be Respectful: Treat all members with kindness and respect. Personal attacks, hate speech, and discriminatory comments will not be tolerated.
Stay On-Topic: Keep discussions relevant to the group's purpose. “Foster a sense of stewardship among local residents by sharing conservation updates, encouraging sustainable practices, and promoting community-led initiatives to protect Roatan’s marine ecosystem.”
No Spam: Avoid sending unsolicited messages, advertisements, or repetitive content. Respect everyone’s time and attention.
Limit Self-Promotion: Promote your business, events, or projects only if they are relevant to the group's interests and allowed by the group’s administrator.
No Misinformation: Share only verified information. Avoid spreading rumors or unverified news.
Privacy Matters: Do not share personal information or private conversations from the group without consent.
Use Clear Language: Communicate clearly and constructively.
No Harassment: Harassment or bullying of any kind is strictly prohibited. If you experience or witness any form of harassment, report it to the group admin.
Follow Admin Instructions: Abide by any additional guidelines set by the group admins. Admins are here to help ensure the group runs smoothly.
Stay Positive: Foster a positive and supportive environment. Constructive criticism is welcome, but negativity and hostility are not.
Report Issues: If you encounter any problems or see rule violations, report them to the group admin rather than addressing them in the chat.
Be Patient: Allow time for members to respond to questions or discussions. Not everyone can reply immediately.
Respect Decisions: Accept group decisions and changes with understanding and contribute positively to discussions.
Notifications changes in dive shops staff: Dive shop managers must notify the WhatsApp group administrator when a former staff member, who is a participant in the group, is no longer employed at the dive shop. This will allow the administrator to remove the person from the WhatsApp group.
