Jenny Myton is a Honduran environmental engineer who has been working in marine conservation for the last 17 years. Her work has ranged from reef mapping and monitoring of the Bay Islands, to setting up and declaring marine protected areas (Cordelia Banks and Tela Bay) and supporting their local NGOs in effective management and becoming self sustained and properly financed. She currently works for the Coral Reef Alliance (CORAL) and is leading marine conservation projects on Roatán, Utila, and Tela. She has supported the Roatán Marine Park since its beginnings by providing technical assistance and being a facilitator between the RMP and the Honduran central government and other organizations. She has been a board member since 2008 and would like to continue being part of the team, working towards ensuring the reefs around Roatán thrive!
